ANALYST ROLE by Noelia Clemente

This week I’m the analyst of the group and I have to evaluate the work of my mates and answer some questions:

What was the best part of the activity?

This week the task that we had to do has been very interesting and funny. We decided to make three advertisements in against of the textbooks and the best part of this activity has been record the advertisements.

What was the worse?

I think that the worse part has been when we had to do make the advertisements with the computer, because the program that we used didn’t work very well and we had some problems with the videos but, finally, we could do the advertisements well.

What was the best moment of the week (in the work of the group)?

The best moment has been when we finished the videos and we saw it, it was very funny.

What was the worse?

The worse was when we had to start making the videos because anybody of the group knew it very well how use the program.

What have you learnt?

This week we have learnt more about the textbooks, that they aren’t as good as we though before and that we, as future teachers, can make a good and useful class where children learn without textbooks.

What do you need to conserve -as a group- for the next weeks?

I think that we have to continue as we have been doing until now. We are a big group and sometimes we have different opinions but we have known how we come to an agreement.

What do you need to improve –as a group- for the next weeks?

I think that we have to do more useful the time that we spent when we met for do the work because each member of the group is from a different place and it’s a bit difficult meet.

How this content is related to other contents in the course and in your degree?

This content is very related with our degree because we are studying for be teachers and a textbook is something that we have in almost all our subjects. And it has been interesting work in this topic of the textbooks this week.

There is any evident social connection of this content (news, politics, etc.)?

Yes, because nowadays in schools the main thing that is used in a class are textbooks. There isn’t any class in which it doesn’t use textbooks.

FACILITATOR ROLE by Andrea Bermúdez

Hello bloggers!

I’m Andrea Bermúdez and this week my role has been “facilitator”. My group and I have done three advertisements about the dark side of textbooks illustrating the troubles that we have found on them. Like facilitator, I have helped to my mates to do their roles. The journalist has been recollecting information about what we have been doing during this task. The analyst has been helping to search information on the net to do the advertisements and noting what we did. The translator has searched information about the five concepts that she has chosen. The curator-farmer has searched information on the net, she has kept the references, and she has done the work on Pearltrees. And the stars have done the video montage. I have liked to do this role because I have felt well with my group and they have done all the things that I have said them in a good way, although it’s a difficult task because of we are a group and sometimes it’s difficult coordinate us. It has been a good experience for me and I have learnt many things about how coordinate, how speak with the group and how put order among the components of the group.

I have liked this topic a lot, and I hope that you like our work!

I´m Laura and this week I´m going to be the journalist.
So, first of all I have to say that the task of this week has left good moments like for example, the moments that after that, you could see.
The task of this week was doing a advestisement about why we haven´t to use textbooks
So we decided to do an publishment advertise for do the task.
The idea of the advertisments are to say NO to the textbooks,and we present 3 files with diferent reasons about it.
For example ,the textbooks limit your knowledge or the lost of the enviorement to do the paper, the high prices of the textbooks etc.

As we can see ,in addition to learn about the ítem of this week ,we learnt about  the importance to use other resources instead of textbook for education, and even more important thing, the learning can be funny if you want ,you have to see the positive side, to realize that you can learn while having fun.

In conclusión,I have to say …open you mind,experiment your own limits ,because It´s better to discover the knowledge by yourself.

THE BEST KNOWLEDGE  IS WHAT YOU LEARN FROM YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE .THIS IS THE WAY THAT WE CAN LEARN.

ANALYST by Gloria Garcia.

Hi guys, I'm Gloria and this week I've been the analyst of the group.

As you already know we have been working on the Creative Commons Licence. For applying them and to understanding how to use them, we had to do a presentation for the rest of the class as if they were our primary students. At first we choose the topic of the universe and the planets of the solar system, and we finished it, but then we realized that another group had chosen the same topic so we had to change it. That was a little bit anoying, but we are always supposed to work our best. As the second and final topic we choose the human evolution and I have to recognize that the stars of the group made a very good job explaining it.

Summarazing the work of this week I have to say that this topic of Creative Commons Licence is very interesting and useful because all the time we use pictures, music, draws and so on in our class presentations or even outside the classroom, but we don't know that we are using them illegally and that's why is so important that we start doing our projects using Creative Common Licence.

About the team work I have to say that we have been very coordinated in the distributing and development of the project. As I've mentioned before, we were upset in the sense that we have done two different projects with the difficulties that it brings as meeting all the members of the group two or more days a week for one project but we have done it twice.

Appart from that I think that we can do better each time and all the members of the group are motivated and ready to do their best.

I hope that you have learnt a little bit more and see you next week with a new topic!

STAR II ROLE by Laura Clemente

Hello everyone!

I´m Laura and this week I have been the star with Andrea Bermudez.

We had to do a presentation for primary school children, so we decided to work in the human evolution.

Our presentation, that we uploaded in slideshare, told us a little bit about how the humans have changed over time, and finally we proposed a question for the class to meditate the importance of the human evolution

Although we had a problem with the topic of our presentation ,we think that we made a good work .

After the presentations, I must say, that I learned a lot. We learned that as teachers, we have to be imaginative, creative to attract the students and motívate them.So, I think this work has helped us to improve as future teachers
